IPTV on VIDAA Smart TVs: Options and What to Check

IPTV on VIDAA smart TVs (including some Hisense models): a smaller app store means limited choice. Options, checks, and IPTV4K.CA status.

Published · Updated · Last checked

Short answer: VIDAA is the smart TV system on some Hisense and other TVs. Its app store is smaller than Google Play, so IPTV player choice is limited and varies by TV model, VIDAA version and region. IPTV4K.CA lists VIDAA as supported; we have not tested it on a VIDAA TV.

How IPTV works on VIDAA Smart TVs

VIDAA is a closed system with a smaller, more curated store than Google Play, and guides report that installing apps from outside the store is generally blocked. Some Hisense models run Google TV instead of VIDAA, which is a different situation with much wider app choice, so check which system your TV has.

Example IPTV players for VIDAA Smart TVs

These are examples of the kinds of apps people use, not recommendations or endorsements, and IPTV Review has no connection with any of them. Names, availability and features change, so check the official store listing for your exact device and region before installing. Most IPTV players contain no channels of their own: they only play what your provider supplies.

  • SS IPTV and Smart IPTV: Guides mention these for VIDAA TVs, but availability varies by model, VIDAA version and region, and most of those guides come from IPTV sellers. Check your TV’s own store.
  • An external streaming device: The most dependable route reported for VIDAA TVs is a Fire TV Stick, Chromecast or Android box on an HDMI port, which opens the full range of Android players.

What you need

  • A VIDAA TV, or an external streaming device on its HDMI port
  • A player app available for your TV
  • Login details from your provider

Setting up IPTV on VIDAA Smart TVs

  1. Check your model and software version, and that the player you want is offered in the device’s official store.
  2. Install the player from that official store.
  3. Get your login details from your provider. Providers usually supply either an Xtream-style login (server address, username and password) or an M3U playlist link, sometimes with a separate programme-guide address. Check which one yours gives you, because not every player supports every format.
  4. Add the details in the player. Long web addresses are quicker to paste or type on a phone or computer, and some players let you add a playlist from another device.
  5. Wait for the channel list and guide to load, then test several channels, the guide and the sports you follow, at the hours you normally watch.
  6. If you are using a free trial, test everything inside the trial window before you pay.
  • TiviMate is Android-only and will not appear on VIDAA.
  • Confirm in the TV’s own store whether any IPTV player is offered before you subscribe.

IPTV4K.CA on VIDAA Smart TVs: what we know

  • Does IPTV4K.CA say it supports VIDAA? Yes. VIDAA is one of the twelve device families on IPTV4K.CA’s homepage (provider claim, checked 6 October 2026).
  • Have we tested it on this device? Not tested. Our only hands-on test (14 October 2026) used a Fire TV Stick and an iPhone app, so nothing here has been verified for this device.
  • Players it names: On its free trial page, IPTV4K.CA names IPTV Smarters and TiviMate as compatible players, “and other supported IPTV apps” (provider claim, checked 6 October 2026).
  • What the provider told our tester: According to our tester, IPTV4K.CA said by chat on 14 October 2026 that its subscription works with any player that accepts Xtream Codes or M3U links, and with MAG devices (a provider statement; we hold no copy of it yet and have not verified it).
  • What this means for you: Ask IPTV4K.CA which VIDAA app and playlist format it supports, or plan to use an external streaming device.

That is narrower than “every player”: a player has to support one of those formats, and not every app does on every device. We cannot verify the provider’s statement, so ask which player it recommends for your exact device, and use the 24-hour free trial to test it before paying. What to check before choosing a provider

  • Whether your Hisense or other TV runs VIDAA or Google TV
  • Your VIDAA version and store region
  • Whether the provider names your exact device, and which player and playlist format it expects
  • Whether it offers a free trial, so you can test on your own setup before paying
  • The refund and cancellation terms, in writing
