IPTV on Formuler Devices: Players and Setup

IPTV on Formuler set-top boxes: Formuler's own MYTVOnline apps, how setup works, and what is known about IPTV4K.CA on Formuler boxes.

Published · Updated · Last checked

Short answer: Formuler makes set-top boxes aimed at IPTV viewers, and its own MYTVOnline apps are central to them. IPTV4K.CA lists Formuler as supported; we have not tested it on a Formuler box.

How IPTV works on Formuler devices

Formuler’s site lists MYTVOnline3 among its apps, and separately announces MYTVOnline+ as a mobile application. Setup generally means adding your provider’s playlist or portal address in the app, so check which source type your provider supplies. Newer models also run other apps, which varies by model, so check yours.

Example IPTV players for Formuler devices

These are examples of the kinds of apps people use, not recommendations or endorsements, and IPTV Review has no connection with any of them. Names, availability and features change, so check the official store listing for your exact device and region before installing. Most IPTV players contain no channels of their own: they only play what your provider supplies.

  • MYTVOnline3: Formuler’s own app, listed on Formuler’s website. Guides describe it as the box’s main IPTV app.
  • MYTVOnline+: Formuler’s phone and tablet app, announced as an Android application, with an iOS version listed separately.
  • Other Android IPTV players: On models that let you install other apps. Check your model first.

What you need

  • A Formuler box on current software
  • Login details from your provider in a format the app accepts

Setting up IPTV on Formuler devices

  1. Check your model and software version, and that the player you want is offered in the device’s official store.
  2. Install the player from that official store.
  3. Get your login details from your provider. Providers usually supply either an Xtream-style login (server address, username and password) or an M3U playlist link, sometimes with a separate programme-guide address. Check which one yours gives you, because not every player supports every format.
  4. Add the details in the player. Long web addresses are quicker to paste or type on a phone or computer, and some players let you add a playlist from another device.
  5. Wait for the channel list and guide to load, then test several channels, the guide and the sports you follow, at the hours you normally watch.
  6. If you are using a free trial, test everything inside the trial window before you pay.
  • Ask your provider whether it gives you a portal address, an Xtream login or an M3U link before you buy.
  • Keep the box’s software up to date.

IPTV4K.CA on Formuler devices: what we know

  • Does IPTV4K.CA say it supports Formuler? Yes. Formuler is one of the twelve device families on IPTV4K.CA’s homepage (provider claim, checked 6 October 2026).
  • Have we tested it on this device? Not tested. Our only hands-on test (14 October 2026) used a Fire TV Stick and an iPhone app, so nothing here has been verified for this device.
  • Players it names: On its free trial page, IPTV4K.CA names IPTV Smarters and TiviMate as compatible players, “and other supported IPTV apps” (provider claim, checked 6 October 2026).
  • What the provider told our tester: According to our tester, IPTV4K.CA said by chat on 14 October 2026 that its subscription works with any player that accepts Xtream Codes or M3U links, and with MAG devices (a provider statement; we hold no copy of it yet and have not verified it).
  • What this means for you: IPTV4K.CA does not say which source format it supplies for Formuler’s app. Ask whether to use portal, Xtream or M3U on your model.

That is narrower than “every player”: a player has to support one of those formats, and not every app does on every device. We cannot verify the provider’s statement, so ask which player it recommends for your exact device, and use the 24-hour free trial to test it before paying. What to check before choosing a provider

  • Your Formuler model and software version
  • Which source type the provider supplies
  • Whether the provider names your exact device, and which player and playlist format it expects
  • Whether it offers a free trial, so you can test on your own setup before paying
  • The refund and cancellation terms, in writing
